What is NetLab?

The Networking Lab (NetLab) is hosted by the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication (DISCo) of the University of Milano-Bicocca, Building U14, Room T09 (ground floor).

NetLab is dedicated to research on computer networking and cloud computing, with the goal of designing, optimizing, and securing the distributed infrastructures that underpin modern digital services. We investigate how networks and computing systems (with resources spanning from the cloud, through the edge, to emerging non-terrestrial platforms) can be made more flexible, efficient, trustworthy, and autonomous.

Methodologically, NetLab combines analytical modelling, network simulation/emulation, and machine learning.
